Christians have access to the most powerful weapon known in the universe, yet very few ever use it. Prayer is the Christian’s secret weapon against the schemes of the enemy. There is no question that the Creator of the universe hears and answers the prayer of a sincere and repentant heart. The Bible is replete with examples of how God responds to prayer. We are promised in Scripture that when we pray in God’s will he will grant our prayers (1 John 5:14-15). At the core of all prayer should be trust in the Lord.
